Dental Implants in Davison, MI
Complete Your Smile
Missing teeth can largely impact a person’s confidence and ability to live a normal life, but fortunately, our office provides dental implant treatment to the Davison, MI, community. Dental implants are the only option for restoring teeth that have the potential to last a lifetime. Their custom design restores your natural smile and oral function.
Dental implants are a popular choice for patients missing teeth in Davison, MI, because they offer various advantages over other replacement options. A single dental implant is made of three key parts that, once placed in the mouth, mimic the exact appearance and function of your natural teeth. A titanium post, metal abutment, and crown work together to restore aesthetics and function to your smile.
The Biggest Advantages of Dental Implants
Dental implants are unique in several ways because, unlike other tooth restoration solutions, they do not require any additional support from nearby teeth or other oral structures. They are also the only restoration solution that has the potential to be a life-long replacement.
Easy To Care For.
Dentures require special cleaning solutions and must be removed during every meal. Meanwhile, dental implants are cared for like your natural teeth with regular brushing and flossing.
Dental implants are the most versatile tooth replacement solution. Whereas dentures are typically used for full-arch replacement, and bridges are used for multiple tooth replacement, dental implants can be used in any number of tooth replacement treatments. They can replace a single missing tooth, individually replace multiple missing teeth, or they can be used as a base for multi-tooth replacements with implant-supported bridges or fixed dentures.
What will my dental implant procedure be like?
The first step of the dental implant process is to visit our office for your initial consultation. Our Davison, MI, office is east of Flint, where we regularly perform implant-based restoration procedures. Once you get to our office, we will perform a thorough exam of your mouth and jaws, as well as review your medical history. If you have not yet received X-rays or 3D scans, we will take those in our office to help us perfect your treatment plan.
Your next appointment will be your surgical procedure. Once you feel comfortable and prepared, we will administer your chosen form of anesthesia. In most cases, we recommend patients undergo IV sedation. This allows you to rest in a semi-conscious state, unaware of the procedure, and wake up when it is over.
During the procedure, your oral surgeon will make a small incision in the gum tissue, place the implant post, and place dissolvable sutures. You will then return home, where it is important that you closely follow your post-operative instructions. Over the next few months, you will recover and maintain a soft foods diet until you have properly healed. We will place the connecting abutment once the post has fused to your jaw, and your restorative dentist will place the final crown once you have fully healed.
As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, we have been extensively trained to successfully place dental implants. Our team uses the latest implant techniques and technology available to provide patients with outstanding surgical care and achieve optimal results.

Reviews From Our Dental Implant Patients
"I was in an automobile accident, and I had quite a few of my teeth knocked out. They started with bridges, but then they splintered the teeth, and they broke off. Then I finally had to have the whole top pulled. I had root canals, and then the teeth broke off because Dr. Frey said that they get hard, or they don't have anything—they don't have life in them anymore, so they break off. And he extracted those—I have six on the bottom. When he was doing the implants, he had to do some bone grafting. Dr. Frey is very nice, yeah, very friendly, and yes, I would recommend him highly."
Erisa Reviews Her Dental Implant Procedure
"I had a wisdom tooth that I needed to have taken out—I put it off for a very long time—and I also needed an implant put in. I was scared. I do not like be sedated—until I met Dr. Lesneski. It went really well. I was sedated, my procedure felt like it took a minute, even though I'm sure it took a lot longer, and I went home, recovered pretty fast, and everything went back to normal. I do like his office. His staff is very friendly. I really appreciate the fact he walked me through the entire procedure and made me feel safe. I would highly recommend Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons, especially Dr. Lesneski."
Gerald Reviews His Dental Implant Procedure
"The receptionists—they warmed up so quick with their smiles, and it’s almost like they know you personally. I felt right at home when I went in. Dr. Frey is an excellent oral surgeon. He puts you at ease, and, before you know it, the procedure’s over with, and you’re done. For any of my friends that live in Waterford, Michigan, I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Dr. Frey."
Lena Reviews Her Dental Implant Procedure
"I had a tooth where my general dentist had said that it needed to be pulled. So he said that it needed to be pulled, and I needed to get an implant after the tooth was pulled, so I came here to get my tooth pulled and the implant. I was a little bit nervous at first. They kind of put me at ease by letting me know what was going on the entire process and giving me kind of a run-down of what was going to happen. My procedure was pretty painless. I didn't feel anything—you know, they gave me some drugs and everything, and I really didn't feel anything; it was pretty good. Dr. Lesneski is a great oral surgeon. I love having him as my doctor. I would recommend anybody to come to him. If any of my friends in Clio, Burton, or Flint need a dental implant, I highly recommend Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons."
"Well, I had some bridges that were disintegrating and needed to be taken out, and that was going to cause some empty spaces, so my dentist suggested implants. First time—very nervous. It's not something that I had been through, so I didn't know what to expect. They just were very comfortable, very good at explaining what I would be going through and what to expect, so that helped. First time, I was still nervous, but I felt better about it once I had heard from them what would be happening. I'm in the chair just like any dentist's office letting them work on me, and they are very good about talking to you and asking you if you're okay. Dr. Frey is probably one of the nicest guys I know. He just makes you feel at home."
