A Comfortable Surgical Experience
At Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center, we understand you may be nervous about an upcoming procedure. We want to provide you with high-quality, compassionate care and put you at ease in our Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Owosso, and Oxford, MI, offices.
Types of Anesthesia
There are three main types of anesthesia that we use at our practice:
Anesthesia and Sedation Experts
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons have received a significant amount of additional training in the administration of anesthesia to offer this service in their office. Drs. Lesneski, Frey, Kittle, Thompson, and John completed a hospital-based surgical residency program that provides them with the highest level of in-office sedation and anesthesia training. This hands-on experience working alongside medical anesthesiologists qualifies them to evaluate their patients for anesthesia, safely deliver the anesthetic, and effectively monitor patients during and after surgery. Our surgical team also undergoes rigorous training and certification to administer anesthesia in a safe and comfortable environment.
At Greater Michigan Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center, we strive to deliver the highest level of care, which includes providing the safest solutions. EXPAREL is a non-narcotic medication for extended post-operative pain relief. If you choose to select EXPAREL as a part of your treatment plan, the medication will be administered in a single dose during your procedure. Exparel is clinically proven and highly effective at controlling pain for several days, reducing and even eliminating a need for other post-surgical medications, such as opioids. EXPAREL is non-addictive, and patients do not have to worry about any unpleasant side effects commonly associated with opioid-based prescriptions.
If you are interested in a safer, non-narcotic, and non-addictive alternative to pain medication as a part of your post-surgical treatment plan, EXPAREL may be the solution for you. Visit the official EXPAREL website to learn more.
